Inspired by the wild roses tousled through the hedgerows leading to Bamburgh Beach, this delicate flower epitomises the English countryside. Growing wild on the English coast, moors and hedgerows, this delicate bloom is also hardy and full of character.
Created in detail by paper artist Fiona McKeown, they are true to the shades and shapes of the real flowers - from the delicate pale pink petals to the little buds and leaves and stamens.
Each stem has a full wild rose head, a bud and leaves. The photographs feature three stems together.
Part of the English Woodland spring range, they have been exhibited at both the Biscuit Factory and the April 11. They are available in both palest pink with mid green leaves.
Each piece is hand-made and so may vary slightly from the photographs.
Approximate length 30cm. May fade slightly with time. Best kept out of direct sunlight.
